Patagonia’s Capilene fabrics, available in both women’s and men’s long underwear, has long been the standard for baselayer garments from the seashore to the mountain peaks. Capilene comes in four weights, with tops and bottoms sold separately. All four weights are a fast drying, highly breathable polyester that is made mostly of recycled materials.
