Patagonia’s Capilene fabrics, available in both women’s and men’s long underwear, has long been the standard for baselayer garments from the seashore to the mountain peaks. Capilene comes in four weights, with tops and bottoms sold separately. All four weights are a fast drying, highly breathable polyester that is made mostly of recycled materials. (All are recyclable through the Common Threads program.) They all have a natural odor control built in. And all are 30% off this week!

Capilene 1 when worn alone is for hot weather - or as an under layer in cooler temperatures.

Cap 2 is for chilly days as a baselayer (meaning next to the skin and with outer layers of clothing over it).

Cap 3 keeps you comfortable for endurance activities in cool to cold conditions.

Capilene 4 is the warmest of all. It’s a great baselayer in cold weather or is worn alone (the tops) on cool days.
