The only opportunity to earn a meager living was to crush rocks with crude tools for $1 per day.Enter the fair trade company, Acholi Beads: their partnership with the Tribe has allowed these craftspeople, mostly women, to earn a professional wage making beads in their homes from recycled paper, then fashioning them into beautiful pieces of jewelry.  This business partnership has been a blessing to all who participate along the way – including those who purchase the jewelry.

Wear these beautiful creations, or gift them to your loved ones, knowing that you’ve enabled the Acholi people to prosper in a fair and generous manner.
